Political commentators Mary Matalin and her husband, James Carville, are living proof that people with different political views can respect each other.

The couple, who spoke at Concordia on Oct. 31, gave an entertaining look at important political issues while sharing a behind-the-scenes look at Washington politics.

Matalin is a conservative voice and political contributor for CNN. She formerly served as assistant to President George W. Bush and counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney.

Carville is one of America's best-known political consultants who helped William Jefferson Clinton win the presidential election in 1992. He is a frequent political commentator and contributor for CNN.
