“High Flight,” a collaboration between the internationally renowned King’s Singers and Concordia Choir, is receiving rave reviews. The CD features three solo works by the choir, in addition to three joint works.

"The standout is The Concordia Choir’s rendition of (Eric) Whitacre’s ‘Cloudburst,’” says Andy Gill in a review by The Independent of London.
CDs can be purchased online.

The King's Singers joined The Concordia Choir for a Feb. 9, 2010, performance on campus. They later recorded at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moorhead.

“I’m honored by it all,” says Dr. René Clausen, conductor of The Concordia Choir. “To be on the same CD as composers like Whitacre and (Bob) Chilcott, and to have the choir appear on an international recording with The King’s Singers is a big thrill. It’s an elevating experience for us all.”
