Future Business Leaders of America Break Barriers

future Concordia College students and recent graduates were recognized with top honors at the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda National Conference in Orlando, Fla., June 23-26. More than 1,700 students from around the country attended to sharpen their core business skills, expand their networks, and participate in more than 55 business and business-related competitive events.

Concordia students Colten Kohler '11, Marisa Paulson '11 and Amber Sperling '11 received national recognition at the PBL Awards of Excellence June 26.

Kohler won sixth place in sports management and marketing. Paulson competed in the information management and job interview categories and brought home fifth and first place, respectively. Sperling was awarded third place in word processing and seventh place in strategic analysis and decision-making.

Also competing were Jolee French '14, Dustin Klath '11, Brian Reindl '13 and Natasha Schanz '11.
