Ellingson Receives Flaat Award

flaat Scott Ellingson, director of Admissions, received the Flaat Distinguished Service Award Sept. 1.

Ellingson, a 1977 graduate, began his career at the college in 1979. He joined the Office of Admissions in 1987 and since 2001 has been director of Admissions.

Ellingson, a reliable and authoritative presence, is widely considered an expert in the ever-changing admissions field. He is known for his work ethic, dedication to the college and for the generous amount of personal contact he provides prospective students, parents and alumni.

The Ole and Lucy Flaat Distinguished Service Award recognizes excellence in long-term service to the college.
