CONCORDIA SPEECH TEAM TAKES PART IN ONE OF LARGEST TOURNAMENTS

      The Concordia Speech team recently made a strong showing at one of the largest tournaments in the nation, the 64th annual L.E. Norton Invitational, Nov. 5-6 at Bradley University, where more than 50 schools from across the country competed. Concordia seniors Andrew Eilola, Eveleth, Minn., and Alex MacArthur, Marshall, Minn., advanced to the elimination rounds.
      Eilola placed fifth in Prose Interpretation and MacArthur placed fifth in Informative Speaking. Junior Britt Aasmundstad (Devils Lake, N.D.) and freshmen Alex Elizarraga (Albany, Ore.) and Christiana Hennings (Arlington, S.D.) also competed narrowly missing elimination rounds.
