CONCORDIA FACULTY VOICE RECITAL

    The Concordia College Music Department will present a faculty recital by Lucy Thrasher, soprano, and Peter Halverson, baritone, accompanied on piano by David Worth. This is Worth’s last performance before his retirement. The recital is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in Christiansen Recital Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music.
    The recital will celebrate our heritage as ethnic Scandinavians and as Midwestern farm children of the mid-twentieth century.  It will feature songs in Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and a group of songs one might have found in the piano benches of our homes growing up in Minnesota and Wisconsin farm communities.
    The recital is free and open to the public.
