CONCORDIA PRESENTS JAZZ ENSEMBLE CONCERT

      Concordia College Music Organizations will present a Jazz Ensemble Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, in Buxton/Hanson Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music.
    The performance will include selections from the works of Horace Silver, Sammy Nestico, Cole Porter, Chick Corea and Charlie Park among others. The concert will also feature vocalist Elsa Lund.
      Jazz I is conducted by assistant professor of music Russell Peterson,
Jazz II is conducted by Dr. Peter Knudsvig, associate professor of music; and Jazz III is conducted by student’s Joel Leeman ’13 and Gerardo Leon-Aguilar ’12.
      The concert is free and open to the public.
