CONCORDIA TO PRESENT SAXOPHONE RECITAL

    Concordia College will present the "Una Volta Saxophone Quartet" recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, in Christiansen Recital Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music.
    Concordia assistant professor, Russ Peterson, soprano saxophone; Matt Patnode, associate professor of saxophone and Jazz Studies at NDSU, alto saxophone; Kohei Kameda, instructor of music at Concordia, tenor saxophone; and Greta Johnson, baritone saxophone make up the quartet. They will perform “Minimal,” a piece by Peterson, “Shostakovich String Quartet #8” arranged and adapted for saxophones by Russ Peterson and “Recitation Book” by David Maslanka.
    The recital is free and open to the public.
