GUEST FACULTY PIANO RECITAL AT CONCORDIA

    The Concordia College Music Department will present a guest piano recital by Stephen Carlson at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 in Christiansen Recital Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music.
    Carlson will perform the music of Liszt, Beethoven, Chopin and Stravinsky.
      A member of the Bemidji State University Music Department since 2006, Carlson is a versatile soloist and chamber musician. He has performed at many colleges, universities and festivals throughout much of the U.S. and Eastern Canada. He has also performed with several symphonies and orchestras and made his New York debut as a solo recitalist in 2005 at Carnegie Hall. Carlson is also an innovative clinician frequently called upon to give master classes, piano teacher workshops and to adjudicate contests.
