DIRECTING SCENES FESTIVAL AT CONCORDIA

      The Communication Studies and Theatre Art department at Concordia College will present the annual Directing Scenes Festival at 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 6 and Tuesday, Dec. 7 in the Lab Theatre, Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre.
    Ten student directors from Dr. Jennifer Thomas’ beginning directing class will direct scenes ranging from outrageous comedies to poignant dramas. The Lab Theatre will be transformed from basic interior scenes of kitchens and living rooms to a bagel shop, a park, a cheap motel, an office in a New York City skyscraper and on board a tour ship at Niagara Falls. All 10 scenes will be performed each night by 22 actors.
