CONCORDIA PRESENTS YUVAL RON ENSEMBLE
    The Performing Arts Series at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., will present a performance by the Yuval Ron Ensemble at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15 in the Centrum, Knutson Campus Center.
      The ensemble includes Arabic, Jewish and Christian artists who unite the sacred music traditions of Judaism, Sufism and the Armenian Church into an unusual mystical, spiritual and inspiring musical celebration. In this program, “Seeker of Truth,” the Yuval Ron Ensemble performs the ecstatic music of the mystical Sufi traditions of the Middle East and Pakistan with a whirling Dervish.
      During Chapel time that morning, Yuval Ron will also speak on the topic “Music and the Sacred” and the ensemble will perform. This event, at 9:50 a.m. in the Centrum, is open to the public.
