CONCORDIA ANNOUNCES FACULTY
PROMOTIONS AND TENURE

       The Concordia College Board of Regents recently approved 10 faculty members for promotion and/or tenure. Their accomplishments are a testimony to Concordia’s commitment to academic excellence and to a quality faculty committed to teaching, scholarship and service.
    Dr. Stephanie Ahlfeldt, Dr. Kenneth Foster, Dr. Peter Schultz and Dr. Sara Triggs have all been granted tenure and promoted to associate professor.
       Ahlfeldt, communication studies and theatre art, earned a B.S. and Ph.D. from NDSU; Foster, political science, earned a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of California Berkeley; Schultz, art, earned a B.A. from Concordia, an M.A. from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. from the University of Athens; Triggs, education, earned a B.S. from Mayville State University, B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of North Dakota and an M.A. from the University of St. Thomas.
    Dr. Patricia Gulsvig was granted tenure and promoted to assistant professor.
       Gulsvig, education, earned a B.A. from Concordia, an M.A. from the University of St. Thomas and a Ph.D. from the University of North Dakota.
       David Hamilton, Dr. Susan O’Shaughnessy and Dr. William Snyder have all been promoted to professor.
    Hamilton, music, earned a B.M. from the University of Iowa and an M.M. from The Julliard School; O’Shaughnessy, philosophy, earned a B.A. from St. Olaf College, an M.A. from Bowling Green State University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame; Snyder, English, earned a B.A. from Florida Atlantic University, an M.A. from Temple University and a Ph.D. from Florida State University.
       Dr. Stephen A. Grollman and Dr. Matthew L. Lindholm have been promoted to associate professor.
       Grollman, German, earned a B.A. from New York State University at Stony Brook, an M.A. from The University of Iowa and a Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis; Lindholm, sociology and social work, earned a B.A. from Carleton College, an M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary, New York, and a Ph.D. from City University of New York.
