CONCORDIA SPRING SYMPHONIA CONCERT

      The Concordia College Symphonia will present its spring concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 20 in the Centrum, Knutson Campus Center. The concert is free and open to the public.
      Symphonia will be playing a variety of music including “Variations on a Norwegian Folk Tune,” “Swedish Rhapsody,” Lennon and McCartney’s “Norwegian Wood” and highlights from the movie soundtrack of “Mama Mia.” Special guests from the Jazz I Ensemble, conducted by Russ Peterson, will be joining the Symphonia.
      Symphonia is conducted by Jane Linde Capistran, instructor of music. Capistran conducts the Fargo-Moorhead Area High School Youth Symphony, serves as a guest conductor and clinician for string festivals and workshops in the upper Midwest and is a member of the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony.
    Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
