Concordia Cancels Classes Tuesday to Assist Moorhead Flood Preparation

CONCORDIA CANCELS TUESDAY CLASSES
TO ASSIST WITH MOORHEAD FLOOD PREPARATION
Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., classes will be canceled on Tuesday, March 16 to allow students, faculty and staff to assist with community flood preparations. After consulting the City of Moorhead about its volunteer needs, Concordia is canceling classes on Tuesday, March 16. Monday’s classes will continue as scheduled and classes will resume on Wednesday, March 17, with no further cancellations anticipated.
Volunteers can report to Alex Nemzek Hall at Minnesota State University Moorhead, beginning at 3 p.m. Monday, March 15. From there, FirstLink will organize volunteers and shuttle them to places of need throughout the community. Concordia will provide a shuttle service from campus to Nemzek Hall, beginning at 8 a.m., Tuesday, March 16.
Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
