VALENTINE’S DAY RECITAL AT CONCORDIA
The Concordia College Music department will present a Valentine’s Day faculty recital featuring Lucy Thrasher, assistant professor of music; Peter Halverson, associate professor of music; and Stephen Sulich, in residence at Concordia as a vocal coach and accompanist. The recital “If Love Were All…” will be at 5 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14 in Christiansen Recital Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music.
Thrasher, soprano; Halverson, baritone; and Sulich, piano; will perform traditional songs written by Henry Purcell and arranged by Benjamin Britten, along with sad and sarcastic songs by Ivor Novello and Noel Coward. Look for a few surprises as the recital draws to a close.
It is free and open to the public.
