CONCORDIA PRESENTS ANNUAL MIDWINTER PIANO FESTIVAL

    Concordia College will present the annual Midwinter Piano Festival Thursday, Feb. 4-Saturday, Feb. 6. The schedule of events:

    The Concordia Trio will peform at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4 in Christiansen Recital Hall. The Concordia Trio will perform works by Beethoven and Brahms.
   
    Robert Hamilton, piano, will perform at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 5 in Christiansen Recital Hall. Hamilton, an internationally acclaimed pianist, will perform works by Beethoven, Schumann, Copland, Bartok and Brahms.
   
    David Viscoli, piano, will perform at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6 in Christiansen Recital Hall. Viscoli, Minnesota State University-Mankato, will perform an all-Beethoven program that includes the composer’s monumental masterpiece the Hammerklavier Sonata.
   
    All events are free and open to the public.
