JAZZ I AND II TO PERFORM CONCERT AT CONCORDIA

    The Concordia College Music Department will present Jazz I and Jazz II in concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 20 in Buxton Hall/Hanson Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music.
    Jazz I, conducted by assistant professor of music Russell Peterson, will perform songs including “Splanky” by Neal Hefti and arranged by Sammy Nestico; and “The Cheese that Time Forgot” by Dan Gailey.
    Jazz II, conducted by Peter Knudsvig, associate professor of music, will perform songs including “Can’t Buy Me Love” by John Lennon and Paul McCartney and arranged by Rick Stitzel; and "When I Fall in Love" by Victor Young and arranged by Craig Skeffington.
    The concert is free and open to the public.
