CONCORDIA PRESENTS BUSINESS ETHICS LECTURE

    The Concordia School of Business and Center for Ethical Leadership will present the Norman M. Lorentzsen Lecture Series at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 9 at the Courtyard by Marriott, 1080 28th Ave. S., Moorhead, Minn. “Ethics Through Regulation: Perspectives from the Financial Industry and Accounting Profession” will feature Mark Olson, Troy Butner and Ann McConn discussing the role of regulations in promoting ethical behavior. Each speaker will give a short presentation and a moderated discussion will follow. Lunch is included.
    Olson recently retired as chairman of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and served nearly five years as a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the Federal Open Market Committee. Butner is a partner in Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office, Minneapolis and McConn is the Fargo Market President for Alerus Financial.
    The Norman M. Lorentzsen Lecture Series is made possible by a grant to Concordia’s endowment fund from the TCF Foundation, St. Paul, given in recognition of Norman Lorentzsen’s service to TCF Bank as a member of their Board of Directors.
