GUEST FACULTY TUBA RECITAL AT CONCORDIA

    The Concordia College Music department will present a guest faculty tuba recital by Dean Somerville at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22 in Christiansen Recital Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music. This will be Somerville’s fifth annual residency on campus and will include lessons and master classes as well as the recital.
    The recital will also feature Concordia instructor Jane Linde Capistran, violin; assistant professor Dr. Nathaniel Dickey on euphonium and tuba; and Dr. Sarah Kahl, Concordia alumna and former Concordia faculty member on piano.
    Somerville is former principal tubist with the U.S. Army Band and a noted composer and arranger. He is sponsored by Dillon Music.
    The recital is free and open to the public.
