PERFORMING ARTS SERIES AT CONCORDIA
TO PRESENT OSLO CHAMBER CHOIR

Concordia College kicks off the academic year’s Performing Arts Series with a concert by Oslo Chamber Choir at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25 in Memorial Auditorium.

During the course of its 25-year history, the Oslo Chamber Choir has established itself as one of Norway’s leading choirs. The group has gained an international reputation for quality and versatility in performance and is particularly famous in Norway for its groundbreaking exploration of vocal folk music. The choir is conducted by Håkon Daniel Nystedt, grandson of the famous Norwegian composer and conductor Knut Nystedt.

Tickets are $25 for reserved, $20 for general, $10 for students 18 and under (seniors receive a $2 discount per ticket). For additional information or to purchase tickets call the Office of Cultural Events at (218) 299-4366.
