CONCORDIA LATIN DAYS
Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., is hosting its 31st annual Latin Days. Students from Bismarck, Grand Forks and Fargo, N.D., and Minneapolis will take part in this event Thursday, May 14-Friday, May 15.
Students in grades 7-12 will complete written exams in grammar, mythology, Roman life and culture, Roman history and word derivation. Junior and senior high school level students will also compete in oral exams. Participants will arrive Thursday evening and take part in a Toga Banquet at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Anderson Commons.
Concordia Classical Studies majors help run and organize this annual event. Dr. Barbara McCauley is chair of the department.
Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
