CHANTICLEER TO PERFORM AT CONCORDIA
The Concordia College Cultural Events Series will present Chanticleer in concert at 8 p.m., Friday, April 24 in Memorial Auditorium.
Called “the world’s reigning male chorus” by the New Yorker magazine, Chanticleer performed more than 100 concerts in 2007-08, the GRAMMY Award-winning ensemble’s 30th season. Based in San Francisco, the group has developed a remarkable reputation for its vivid interpretations of vocal literature, from Renaissance to jazz, and from gospel to venturesome new music.
The concert is presented in partnership with Minnesota Public Radio. For more information or for tickets, contact the Office of Cultural Events at (218) 299-4366.
