CONORDIA TO HOST HIGH SCHOOL HONOR BAND WEEKEND
Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., welcomes high school students from the Upper Midwest to campus April 17-19 in the second annual Concordia High School Honor Band Weekend. Students were invited to apply and audition by CD.
The participants will have sessions with Concordia faculty on Friday and enjoy an Instrumental Collage concert that evening. They will also attend master classes and will be guests at a special Saturday evening chamber music concert featuring members of the wind section of the Minnesota Orchestra. A reception for the students and the performing artists will follow the chamber concert.
These top-level instrumental students will perform a concert open to the public at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, April 19 in Memorial Auditorium.

The Instrumental Collage concert at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 17 in Memorial Auditorium and the High School Honor Band concert at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, April 19, also in Memorial, are both free and open to the public.
Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
