CONCORDIA COLLEGE SYMPHONIA TO PERFORM CONCERT

    The Concordia College Symphonia orchestra will present a concert at 4 p.m., Monday, April 27 in the Buxton-Hanson Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
    Some of the selections the orchestra will perform include “The Magnificent Seven” by Elmer Bernstein and music from the film score of “Our Town” by Aaron Copland.
    Symphonia is conducted by Jane Linde Capistran, instructor of music. Capistran conducts the Fargo-Moorhead Area High School Youth Symphony, serves as a guest conductor and clinician for string festivals and workshops in the upper Midwest and is a member of the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony.
    Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
