CONCORDIA WIND QUINTET TO PERFORM RECITAL
The Concordia Wind Quintet will perform a recital at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 7 in Christiansen Recital Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music, Concordia College. The recital is free and open to the public.
The members of the Wind Quintet are Debora Harris, associate professor of music on flute; Jennifer Peterson, instructor of music on oboe; Dr. Leigh Wakefield, associate professor of music on clarinet; Karin Wakefield, instructor of music on horn; and Russell Peterson, assistant professor of music on bassoon. The Quintet will perform works by Barber and Taffanel. Pianist David Worth will also perform on the program playing the Beethoven Flute, Bassoon and Piano Trio.
Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
