CONCORDIA COLLEGE ORCHESTRA HOME CONCERT

    The Concordia Orchestra from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., will present a Home Concert at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 15 in Memorial Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
    The concert concludes the orchestra’s 2009 tour which includes stops in Bemidji, Minn.; Grand Rapids, Minn.; Mahtomedi, Minn.; Minneapolis, Sauk Rapids, Minn.; Thief River Falls, Minn.,; and Grand Forks, N.D.
    The 2009 Concordia Orchestra concert tour program is a stunning transfusion of recognizable music from the Baroque, Romantic, and Classical periods, including Beethoven’s monumental Symphony #5.
      One of the college’s most distinctive performing groups, The Concordia Orchestra is an outstanding 93-member symphony orchestra that has earned national and international acclaim.
      Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
