Wind Band Institute Testimonials

In 2008 we met our goal of providing an essential summer opportunity for band directors looking to improve their teaching effectiveness in the classroom. Based on the positive feedback we received, we were able to transform the professional lives of our participants in meaningful ways.

Below are a handful of the comments we received from participants:

"The institute was a wonderful experience! I was presented with challenging ideas, given valuable resources and tools, and was introduced to outstanding music educators. I have no doubt that I have left this institute a better teacher!"
- Pat Bents of St. Paul, Minn.

"I'm more energized and recharged after four days at the WBI than relaxing at home for four WEEKS!"
- Charles Weise of Farmington, Minn.

"A wonderful refreshing, revitalizing institute that puts the emphasis on how to teach to the emotional side of music and how to be more creative."
- Stanton Galstad of Jordan, Minn.

"Something every band director in the country should experience. You will leave with a wealth of knowledge!"
- Reece Bierman of Madison Lake, Minn.
