Honor Band Weekend 2011

The fourth annual Concordia College High School Honor Band Weekend took place April 1-3, 2011. 89 high school musicians, representing seven upper midwest states, were selected by audition to participate in the event.

The guest composer/conductor for the weekend was Johan de Meij.  His piece, Songs From the Catskills, which was commissioned for the 2011 Honor Band, was premiered at the Sunday afternoon concert.
