2008 Honor Band

The inaugural Concordia College High School Honor Band Weekend took place April 11-13, 2008. 76 high school musicians, representing six upper midwest states, were selected by audition to participate in the event. Despite an unusually late winter storm, students arrived by plane, train, bus, and automobile to take part in the event. 

Guests for the event included the internationally acclaimed Empire Brass Quintet and composer Dr. Frank Ticheli.
