Whether you’re attending a concert by The Concordia Band, The Cobber Symphonic Band or The Cobber Echo Band, or cheering along with The Cobber Athletic Band at a home sporting event, you’re experiencing the talent and dedication Concordia music students are known for across the country.
The Concordia Band, under the direction of Dr. Scott A. Jones, is one of our oldest and most distinguished performing ensembles, touring regionally and internationally. The Cobber Symphonic Band, conducted by Dr. Nathaniel H. Dickey, performs campus and community concerts throughout each academic year. The Cobber Echo Band is a non-auditioned based concert band that brings together students from all corners of campus, as does The Cobber Athletic Band which performs for sporting events on our campus. Regardless of experience, there is a place for interested students in The Concordia Band Program to make music and lifetime memories.
