Orchestra Tour Information
Since 1986, The Concordia College Orchestra has made international travel an integral part of its musical experience. The most recent tour included stops in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic. The orchestra performed works by Bernstein, Copland, Dvorák and others for international audiences in cathedrals, churches and concert halls.
A Companion Tour is being organized through the offices of Concordia Language Villages for the 2009 International tour that will allow alumni, parents and friends to travel parallel with the orchestra tour for 12 days in Italy, Austria and Hungary. The trip will include attendance at three orchestra performances.
