The Cobber Athletic Band
The Cobber Athletic Band performs at various home athletic events throughout the academic year. The band also participates in the Greater Moorhead Days Parade and the Concordia Homecoming Parade.
The Cobber Athletic Band is led by Dr. Nathaniel H. Dickey and a team of student directors. The student directors are selected through an annual application and interview process that occurs each spring semester for the following academic year. Typically, the student directors are Music Education Majors in their third or fourth year of education at Concordia. The Cobber Athletic Band Student Directors for 2009-10 are Thomas Regouski ('11) and Jeffrey Marquardt ('11).
Membership in the Cobber Athletic Band is open to all instrumentalists enthusiastic about supporting Cobber Athletics. No audition is required. Please contact Dr. Dickey (dickey@cord.edu) for more information.
