The Cobber Athletic Band

The Cobber Athletic Band performs at various home athletic events throughout the academic year. The band also participates in the Greater Moorhead Days Parade and the Concordia Homecoming Parade.

The Cobber Athletic Band is led by Dr. Nathaniel H. Dickey and two student directors. The student directors are selected through an annual application and interview process that occurs each spring semester for the following academic year. Typically, the student directors are music education majors in their junior year at Concordia. The Cobber Athletic Band student directors for 2012-13 are Jensen Maiden '14 and Cassie Thuen '14.

Membership in The Cobber Athletic Band is open to all instrumentalists enthusiastic about supporting Cobber Athletics. Rehearsals take place one weekday evening during the semester. No audition is required. Please contact Dr. Dickey at dickey@cord.edu for more information.
