(updated 8/24/12) The Concordia College Music Department Student Handbook is a more in-depth look at what it means to be a music major here at Concordia College. In this handbook you will find general information about the Music Department, as well as the music major programs offered here. This handbook also includes the required courses and some recommended four-year plans for the music program.

Piano Proficiency (download PDF)

Piano Proficiency is required of all B.A. and B.M. students at the Concordia College Music Department. This packet will include the scales that need to be played to pass proficiency. There is also a Primer packet within that will help you get ready for your own proficiency tests. The student can complete these proficiency tests over the course of their education here at Concordia College.

Recital Request Forms (download PDF)

The Recital Request Forms are very important to anyone that wishes to perform a recital. Recitals are crucial for the fulfillment of the music degrees here at Concordia College. This packet includes all the request forms for a recital and who they must be returned to and the amount of time a student has to complete these forms before their recital.
