Department of Music Alumni

You can find Concordia music alumni all over the world – singing, playing and conducting in some of the most prestigious concert halls and opera houses. Our graduates are continuing their education at top universities, like the student on a full graduate assistantship at the University of Oklahoma for a master’s in piano pedagogy, the opera performance master’s student at the University of Maryland, College Park, and the horn performance master’s student at the University of Minnesota.

Other recent grads include a four-year Burning Hills Singer in the popular Medora Musical, a music teacher and choir director at Becker Middle School and a music ministry leader with Youth Encounter in Columbia, Ecuador and Venezuela. Furthermore, one out of every five new music educators graduating from Minnesota colleges and universities in 2006 was from Concordia.

Regardless of their majors, graduates frequently cite their Concordia music experiences as important, meaningful and exciting.
