BiographyJessica Westgard
Jessica Westgard is conductor of handbell choirs at Concordia College. A handbell ringer since childhood, Westgard performed in Tintinnabula from 1995-1998, the organization’s founding years. She performed with Moorhead’s Trinity Lutheran Cathedral Chimes and the Fargo-Moorhead Master Ringers from 2000-2007. Westgard has been the director of handbells at St. John Lutheran Church in Fargo since 1999 and at Nativity Catholic Parish since 2006. She is also currently Chair of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, Area VII, and has been registrar for the organization’s educational events and festivals.
A native of Fargo, N.D., Westgard has degrees in economics and German from Concordia College, and received her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D. She is a representative for a financial services company in Fargo.
