Sarahlyn Robinson-Scott - Harp instructor


Holly Wrensch  Sarahlyn is a Dual Citizen of the USA & Canada.  After completing her formal Harp Performance Degree studies at the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music & University of Toronto, she went on to hold Solo principal harp positions with a number of distinguished orchestral, choral & chamber ensembles, touring coast to coast throughout Canada.  Her Harp performance and pedagogy studies were held under the fine tutelages of Harpists, Judy Loman, Dr. Christine Vivona,      Dr. Jessica Suchy-Pilalis and Jennifer Swartz.


Sarahlyn is currently Principal Harpist with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony & Opera Orchestra's, Guest Principal Harp with many other regional ensembles and is a Fargo-Moorhead Music Club registered member.

  Sarahlyn offers to the Fargo-Moorhead region, her love for teaching and chamber music. Sarahlyn is delighted to be the new Professor of Harp here at Concordia College, offering studio lessons and ensembles in Harp at the college level, in both Concert Pedal & Folk Lever Harps. She also directs a large private lesson/ensemble studio for students within the F-M and surrounding communities, offering  annual  harp concerts  & summer camps, open to all age groups.

Sarahlyn is overjoyed to be joining forces this year, with her friend and colleague Debora Harris, in a new, aurally irresistible, Flute & Harp Duo!  Sarahlyn will also be featured locally with musical artists Benjamin Scott - "Heavenly Metal Duo", Nikki Christopher -"Great Plains Grand Harp Duo", the Viotti String Quartet and with her distinguished FMSO and Concordia colleagues, in a multitude of Solo, Chamber and Symphonic performances.  Passionately, she looks forward to continue performing Concerto/Chamber works from the Solo Harp repertoire by Ravel, Debussy, Salzedo, Handel, Grandjany and premieres of new music compositions for Solo Harp throughout, North Dakota & Minnesota.

Sarahlyn performs exclusively on a Lyon & Healy, Chicago, IL – Style 23 Natural Concert Grand Pedal Harp.
