Sarah Kahl - Piano Instructor
Dr. Sarah Kahl currently teaches piano at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and Valley City State University in Valley City, ND. Kahl received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from the University of Kansas. She received her master’s degree in piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and her Bachelor of Music degree in music education from Concordia College.
Kahl has been an active performer, both as a solo artist and a collaborative pianist, in Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas. She has also performed in Vienna, Austria, where she spent a month studying with Wolfgang Watzinger and Krassimira Jordan at the Bösendorfer Piano Academy.
In addition to performing, Kahl operates a private teaching studio and is a member of the Music Teacher’s National Association.
