Scholarships

"Gifts from alumni were what allowed me to attend Concordia. The immediate scholarship assistance Concordia offered me when I applied was a big part of my final college decision."
-Michael Simonson , Spanish and global studies student

Few gifts have a more profound impact on the lives of individual students than scholarship giving. Scholarships can often be the deciding factor whether or not students can attend Concordia, and they see them as a wonderful gift - funding for college that they never have to pay back. Our students also realize that Concordia, as well as scholarship donors, believe in them and want them to succeed - which is an instant boost for them to give college their best. It also makes them a much more appreciative and committed member of the Concordia community.

Your scholarship gifts benefit hundreds of students each year. You can even have the option of establishing a scholarship in the name and honor or memory of a loved one. And all the while, you'll know your gift is helping a student receive a Concordia education.

Scholarship funding can come from annual gifts or through interest on investments. An Advancement Office team member can explain the process and requirements for establishing a scholarship.
