Women's Hockey

The Concordia women's hockey team made a big impact in 2010-11 in the first season under head coach Brett Bruininks. Bruininks, a former standout player at Notre Dame who went on to play professional hockey, led the team to the MIAC semifinals for the first time since 2001. The Cobbers finished the 2011 campaign with 15 overall wins which broke the school record for victories in a single season.

The women's hockey team is the newest sport at Concordia. Started in 1998, Cobber women's hockey has earned a spot in the conference playoffs in five of the 12 seasons they have been in the MIAC. They already have a pair of 100-point scorers in their young history and for the past two seasons Katelyn Dold has led the MIAC in scoring.
