Women's Basketball

Perhaps the top program at Concordia, the women's basketball team has won two national championships - including the 1988 NCAA Division III title. The Cobbers have appeared in the NCAA Tournament an amazing 17 times and have posted 20 wins in national tournament history. Concordia has also won six MIAC regular season championships, two conference playoff titles and has appeared in the league postseason tournament in nine straight years. The Cobbers have also won at least 10 conference games in 28 consecutive seasons - the most of any team in the MIAC.

Current head coach Jessica Rahman was a former All-American at Concordia and was named the NCAA Division III National Player of the Year in 1988 and still holds the record for points in a season in the MIAC.         


Free Throws Key In Playoff Win Over Bethel

Feb. 21--Concordia went 13-for-13 from the free throw line and beat Bethel 55-50 in the MIAC quarterfinals. The Cobbers now advance to the conference semifinals for the second straight season. Recap | Pics

Sorensen Named MIAC Player of the Week

Feb. 20--Concordia junior Tricia Sorensen was named the MIAC Player of the Week. Sorensen averaged 18.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in helping CC post wins over Gustavus and St. Ben’s. Details

Seniors Celebrate By Clinching Third Place

Feb. 18--Concordia celebrated Senior Day by leading wire-to-wire against St. Ben's en route to a 63-57 win. Alex Lippert had 14 points and 11 rebounds to help the Cobbers clinch third place. Recap | Pics
