Cobber Football

In 2010 Concordia installed a state-of-the-art FieldTurf playing surface which allows the Cobbers to practice and play in all weather conditions. The new playing surface is part of a $5 million outdoor facilities project that will also feature a new locker room and office space for the Cobber football team.

Under the leadership of coach Terry Horan, the Cobbers are perennial contenders for the NCAA Division III playoffs. The team’s success is directly related to the caliber of the student-athletes at Concordia.Well-known for featuring an innovative, triple option offense, the Cobbers are a traditional conference power, finishing among the top three teams in the MIAC five of the last eight seasons.
