Baseball

The Concordia baseball team is one of the top programs in the MIAC - having won at least 20 games in five of the last nine seasons. The Cobbers finished second in the conference standings in 2010 and earned a spot in the league playoffs for the fifth time.

Concordia head coach Bucky Burgau is the winningest baseball coach in the history of MIAC baseball. He has amassed an amazing 600 overall wins in his career and has been named the MIAC Coach of the Year on four occasions. He has coached six MIAC Most Valuable Player award winners and has had 16 All-Region honorees in the past seven years. Many of Burgau's former players have gone on to play professional baseball including three-time MIAC MVP Chris Coste who won the World Series as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies.
