Accepting Transfer Credits
Concordia has an excellent track record of accepting transfer credits.
When applying to Concordia, you will need to request official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended. Once you have been accepted for admission, the Registrar's Office will complete a transfer evaluation and send you an official transfer report. This evaluation will give you a clear idea on where you stand in relation to our graduation requirements.
A helpful tool for transfer students is the transfer notebook. It allows you to enter the name of the school you are transferring credits from and see what courses have typically transferred to Concordia.
If you are currently attending a community college, use the transfer guides to choose classes at your Community College that have historically transferred very well to Concordia.
Here are some general guidelines we follow that might be helpful until your transcript is formally evaluated.
- Grades of C- or higher will transfer.
- All courses equivalent to courses we offer will transfer.
- Courses that we do not offer will transfer as elective credit.
