International Students
Costs and Financial Aid
Concordia offers one of the best values in American higher education. We are located in a lower cost geographic region of the United States (also a very safe region), and so we can provide high quality education at a lower cost than similar schools in more expensive locations. In addition, Concordia prizes the contributions international students make to enhance education on campus, and we are pleased to make available International Student Scholarships that can cover a portion of the costs and help make it more possible for students to enroll.

International Student Scholarships
International Student Scholarships based on academic ability and on family need are available. These scholarships can go as high as $20,000 per year for students joining for 2014-15.
In addition to scholarships, international students are eligible to work on campus. Campus employment opportunities are plentiful. We estimate students will earn $2,500 per year from working, but some students who work as much as possible are able to double the estimate.
Education in the USA can be considered as expensive. By offering quality education at a modest cost, and making scholarships and work opportunities available for international students, we hope to make it possible to attract and enroll qualified international students.
Each student/family must submit documentation and certify they have willingness and financial ability to pay their share of the cost before Concordia (or any school) can issue an I-20 form a student needs to apply for a visa.
Additional scholarships available for international students:
IB Scholarship
IB students are well prepared for Concordia study! Students with an IB Diploma who achieve 30 or more points will automatically receive an IB scholarship valued at $5,000 per year. Also, IB students with 30 or more points will receive 24 transfer credits and can join Concordia with sophomore standing, and it is possible to complete a Bachelor Degree in three years if you take a full load of courses each year.
The IB scholarship may be combined with International Student Scholarship, or if you eligible for US federal financial aid may be replaced by a higher amount.
