Costs and Financial Aid

At Concordia, we don’t think a world-class college education has to cost an arm and a leg. Our extremely competitive tuition makes us a great value in private education. And more than 95 percent of our students receive financial aid.

The Price Tag
We’re dedicated to making Concordia accessible for everyone. For the 2008-09 academic year, the total combined cost (tuition + room and board) of a Concordia education is $30,280. But with an average financial aid award per student of $17,000—including grants, scholarships, loans and work study—the real cost is much lower. In fact, we award a total of $42 million in financial aid a year. And factor in our high four-year graduation rates while other colleges' students often need at least five years to complete a degree.

How We Can Help
Here are the three basic ways Concordia will help pay for your education:
  • Scholarships – Concordia alumni, local businesses and private donors have helped fund several generous scholarship programs
  • Loans – Low-interest Stafford, Perkins and other loans
  • Work-Study – Part-time campus jobs that work with your class schedule

Our Financial Aid Office will work closely with you to choose the right combination of loans, scholarships and work study to fit your budget and your plans for the future.

How to Apply
We know applying for financial aid can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, so we try to make the process as easy as possible. Here are separate application instructions for:
