Physical Education and Health Alumni


A Concordia major in physical education and health provides outstanding preparation for many different careers. There are excellent employment opportunities for educators and coaches in K-12 school systems. Concordia-trained coaches have outstanding reputations in the region.

Exercise science majors are well prepared for jobs in the health care field, especially in the emerging areas of instilling healthy lifestyles.

Some students choose to use the major as a springboard for employment in a variety of interesting careers. One recent graduate is in sports marketing at Duke University, another works in sports information at Ohio State University. Yet another graduate is an Air Force officer who heads up a response team to biologic terrorism.
