Provost's Office
The Provost and Dean of the College oversees Concordia's Academic, Student, and Information Affairs. The services and programs provided under the Provost's Office are intended to help deliver an integrated student-learning environment and to enhance the total learning experience at Concordia. Units reporting to the Provost and Dean of the College include academic affairs, Arts & Sciences, athletics, core curriculum & faculty development, global learning, information technology, School of Business, and Student Affairs.
Meet the Provost
Dr. Mark J. Krejci, Provost and Dean of the College, came to Concordia in 1987 as a professor of psychology. In 2004, he was named Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the College. He was appointed Provost and Dean of the College in 2009.
His master’s and doctorate degrees are from the University of Notre Dame in counseling psychology.
As a member of the psychology department, Krejci served for 15 years as department chair.
His research interests involved the impact of religious schemas on behavior and the influence of client’s religious beliefs on psychotherapy. He also served as editor of the Psychology of Religion Newsletter.
