May/July Graduates: Specific Information
- You must purchase your caps and gowns at the Cobber Bookstore on Thursday, April 24, or Friday, April 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students living out of town this semester may pick up their caps and gowns on Saturday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Concordia approved graduation garb designated with the Concordia logo is required in order to participate in the Commencement ceremony and is available for purchase only at the Cobber Bookstore. Graduation announcements are available at the Bookstore and www.cobberbookstore.com For personalized announcements, visit Jostens.com.
- For Baccalaureate, please assemble at Ivers at 9:20 a.m. (In the event of rain, please assemble in Olson Forum). College staff will provide you with additional instructions for the event.
- For Commencement, please assemble at Ivers at 1:45 p.m. (In the event of rain, please assemble in Olson Forum). College staff will provide you with additional instructions for the event.
- While in academic dress, candidates for the bachelor's degree wear the tassel of the cap in front and to the right (i.e., over and to the right of the right eye). A holder of an academic degree wears the tassel in front and to the left (over the left eye). Do not make this change during the ceremony.
