Why Study Russian Studies at Concordia?
Our department requires three years of college-level training in the Russian language. This distinctive feature provides Russian studies graduates with a competitive edge in career opportunities. All of our students also have the opportunity to experience Russia through a
global education experience or even an internship abroad!
Often times, our students choose to pair their Russian studies major with
international business or
global studies, leading to a variety of opportunities with our
cooperative education office.
Beyond the classroom, take advantage of Concordia's extracurricular activities including:
• National Russian Honor Society
• Russian club
• Small group conversations and study sessions with a Fulbright native assistant
• Language counseling opportunities at
Lesnoe Ozero, the
Russian Language Village
