Religion Alumni

Concordia religion department graduates are making a place for themselves in the world, helping serve others as pastors, teachers, lawyers, youth directors, Lutheran Volunteer Corps workers and even as a faculty member at Wartburg Theological Seminary. In fact, Concordia has ranked first in recent years in the number of graduates who are candidates for ELCA-rostered ministry. Our grads also attend other seminaries, such as Protestant and Roman Catholic, including a recent grad that attended Yale Divinity School for a Master of Divinity.

You can find our religion majors at other top graduate schools, including Oxford, Harvard, Princeton and the University of Chicago. They're continuing their studies in a wide variety of fields, all benefiting from the faculty mentorship, writing and research emphasis and study abroad experiences they found at Concordia.
